Just about where the river "Elling Å" meets the sea there is a muddy stretch of beachland covered with rocks and pebbles. This part of the beach changes continuously, being formed by the flow of the river and the tidel currents. A few years back a small merchant vikingship was discovered just here, buried in the sand for centuries and then found by modern man after the shoreline having been pushed back and forth over the years.
